I had the privilege of directing the launch cinematic for the game Avatar: Pandora Rising which unveils an awe-inspiring visual narrative that transports players into the mesmerizing world of Pandora. Set against a backdrop of lush landscapes and vibrant bioluminescent flora, the cinematic immerses viewers in the conflict between the Na'vi and the Resources Development Administration (RDA). To pull off this vast detailed world, the team and I chose to use 2d paintings that were then cut up and brought into a 2.5D world to animate. The cinematic sets the stage for an epic adventure, teasing the thrilling gameplay and rich storytelling that awaits players as they embark on their own journey through the remarkable world of Avatar.

Bursting with stunning visuals and captivating action sequences played out on a virtual grid, the trailer showcases the diverse and breathtaking landscapes of Pandora, accompanied by a stirring musical score that enhances the sense of adventure. It offers a tantalizing glimpse of the game's engaging gameplay mechanics, strategic battles, and the ability to build and customize your own thriving Na'vi community.
