Arguably one of the most revered and loved superstars from a bygone era of swagger, sex appeal, and pure adrenaline, Shawn Michaels was selected as Candy Digital’s first NFT collaboration with the WWE. This project not only tapped into my inner 10yr old self, but it has also proved to me how the WWE is a masterclass in the spectacle, woven with rich narratives and high drama. And, we even got to use his iconic theme song “Sexy Boy”.

“This is a pretty fascinating piece of work, a 3-D carousel animation, and I’m proud to be the first guy launching it,” Michaels said of the NFT collection to Sports Illustrated. “My music is in there, my signature pose, and it highlights three different eras of my career. I’m the first one, which makes me think back to that ladder match, that Iron Man match, that Hell in a Cell match—somebody’s got to go out there and test the waters. Like I was then, I’m honored to be first.”

It was a treat to see him open up an Infinite Object with his NFT loaded on it.
