Asgard’s Wrath
I was the animation and creative director on this announce trailer for Asgard's Wrath, a triple-A title for Oculus, featuring 30 hours of gameplay and a depth of storytelling not often seen in VR. To highlight the mythic nature of the game, the team and I created glowing illustrations that appear on the blade of a sword as it’s hammered in a forge, depicting the different classes of characters players can take to battle. At the same time, we used epic camera moves to reveal the dual scales of the game, which allows aspiring Norse heroes to play both as human-sized mortals and towering, all-seeing gods.
