For six years, I had the incredible fortune of spearheading creative direction for Mattel's Matchbox and a range of other vehicle toy lines while I was a Creative Director at The Ayzenberg Group. I led the creative vision and direction for toy releases like Bug Racer, Treasure Truck, Big Boots, and numerous Matchbox campaigns. From concept to execution, I crafted engaging and memorable advertising spots that brought these beloved toys to life. Featured on this page are a few of my favorites.

Hot Wheels ultimate garage
I was lucky enough to work on one Hot Wheels product demo. This was a great deal of fun to write, direct, and work with Billy from Mattel to help anyone undertake the construction of the Ultimate Garage. Currently has 816k views.
Micro mites
This is my favorite spot I’ve ever directed. It’s also the spot that won the Mattel account for The Ayzenberg Group. This was for an internal presentation at Mattel and written, designed, and animated in 3 weeks from start to finish. More of my stop motion work found here.

This spot is dear to me as it was budgeted, created, and approved for an internal presentation at Mattel. Conceived and produced in 2.5 weeks, it involved stop motion using natural light…something not for the faint of heart.

It’s true! These action figures always land on their feet! I loved bringing these characters to life through cgi.
strike hawk
The kid who plays with Matchbox wants to save people. The Elite Rescue line of toys allowed children to dream of scary situations needing a hero with the perfect vehicle to come to the rescue.
cliffhanger
Matchbox Cliffhanger Fire Station lets you take adventure out over the edge. This playset clamps on to tables, doors and more, giving kids an exciting new place to play. Stop motion, along with stylized post-treatments, were used to produce the animated segments.
